› Rajan Kurien  -  Chief Operating Officer

Rajan Kurien is appointed as Chief Operating Officer in June 2016. He brings more than 40 years of hospitality and In-flight Catering expertise. Prior to joining the company as Operations Manager in 2011, Rajan held various executive positions in Oberoi Flight Services, Taj SATS Air Catering Limited, Saudia Catering and Ambassador's Sky Chef. Rajan is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results. His insight and expertise is a great asset to AIC.

› Makeda Yohannes  -  Sales and Customer Services Manager

Makeda joined AIC after serving Ethiopian Airlines for 17 years. Starting in various Customer Service positions, she later moved to head the In-Flight Service Division where she was responsible amongst other things, for the recruitment, training and administration of cabin crew. She now heads the Sales and Customer Services Department at AIC.

› Mark Rowe  -  Executive Chef

Mark is a 'seasoned' chef bringing to Addis International Catering his vast experience acquired through years of service in airline and restaurants as Executive Chef, General Manager - F & B and F & B Manager in UK and Bahrain.

His organized approach to resource planning and management, staff training and quality control makes his leadership highly effective and his products of the highest quality consistently.

These qualities are an asset that Addis International Catering is capitalizing on as it expands it services to event and contract catering in addition to its core business of airline catering.

› Prasanna Warahena  -  Operations Manager

Prasanna Warahena is appointed to the position of Operations Manager. He assumes this position after serving as Operations Duty Manager for 7 years where he has proven his leadership through effective mentoring and coaching of his team.

He also has years of International work experience in Sri Lankan Catering Pvt Limited and Oman Air Catering Unit. Prasanna's experience and knowledge as well as his great attention to detail will continue to maintain the highest standards of customer service delivery at AIC.

› Medel Rumbaoa  -   Technical and Maintenance Manager

Medel has extensive experience acquired through years of service in 5 star hotels and other allied industries and has worked as Director Engineering, Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in Philippines, Nigeria, Qatar and Vietnam.

He is very qualified to head the technical team and ensure that the facility continues to run at the highest level of efficiency at all times.

› Hina Anwar  -  Retail Manager

Working over 15 years in the hospitality industry in Pakistan, Iraq and UAE as an Outlet Manager, Hina brings a lot of experience and skills in areas of catering, banqueting, food and beverage service and sales.

Hina is responsible for the training and leadership of the team that will be deployed at the outlet that AIC is making preparations to open at a central location in Addis Ababa.

› Abebe Temesgen  -  Catering Services Manager

Abebe joins Addis International Catering to start up and head a new department that is dedicated to the sales and delivery of catering services in the local market. Abebe is a seasoned hotelier with a solid 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry at the Addis Ababa Hilton International Hotel.

His vast set of experience in Banqueting and the rich connections he has developed over the years are assets AIC will capitalize on as it ventures into a new market segment that it did not have access to since its start up.

Abebe's broad experience in leading a strong and dynamic team and understanding of customers' expectations will ensure that events, outlets and contracted catering services are organized and delivered with highest level of efficiency to assure maximum customer satisfaction.

› Dawit Meshesha  -  Finance Manager

Over 18 years experience holding various cost control, accounting and financial positions in diverse organizations has sharpened Dawit's finance and accounting skills and expertise, which, coupled with his outgoing and energetic personality, allows him to excel and take good care of business.

› Sinidu Mekonnen  -  Human Resource Manager

Sinidu has a vast administrative experience working at various higher educational institutions for several years. She has been with AIC since May 2010, serving in various capacities, including as the Executive Assistant to the COO, a position that has prepared her well to head the Human Resource Department.

Sinidu is committed to secure the best fit candidates for all positions in AIC, and leading the department to manage all HR related issues efficiently to help develop the workforce at AIC into a strong and effective team.

› Jose Chito Azarcon  -  Executive Pastry Sous Chef

Jose brings a rich culinary experience of over 17 years. He has many years of international work experience in places like Dubai, U.A.E and Sudan as well as Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Chef Jose is leading his team in the bakery and pastry section towards offering a new and exciting culinary experience to all AIC customers.

› Dilu Dereje  -  Assistant Quality & Food Safety Manager

Dilu is appointed to the position of Assistant Quality & Food Safety Manager at AIC after serving the company for 10 years in different capacities. With qualifications in areas of Food Preparation and Hotel Management, Dilu has served AIC in areas of Quality Assurance and Operations Duty Management.

This has helped Dilu sharpen his skills and knowledge to assure the highest levels of quality compliance throughout the facility and among all teams working at AIC.
